Love a visit to Miss Effie’s! Gorgeous, peaceful setting and a wide variety of flowers. We try to make it there at least once a summer.

My daughter & i bought the flowers in spring ready to be planted!! They have not been any thing but joy for us!! We have had fun flowers vivid colors of flowers throughout the year!! We have loved our display of flowers. Thank you for giving us the chance to share our beautiful experience with you

Miss Effie’s Country Flowers farm was a sure hit with my wife she raved about what a wonderful experience she had and just how creative and cute it was! She was extremely impressed and grateful that a friend suggested the trip and drove her to this lovely location hidden on the country roads of Iowa. A must see!💐

Where do I even start, Cathy was so kind and I enjoyed talking with her so much! She’ll give you the run down, hand you your bucket and pruners and off you go!! I went on August 12th and there were still so many flowers left to pick!! If you love taking photos there are so many wonderful photo op spots ✨ This activity was so peaceful and relaxing, truly a hidden gem outside of town. I’m new to the QC, moved here from down south and Miss Effie’s felt like home. But at the same time, I felt her property really captured what is truly “Iowa.” If you’re in the area give her a visit! She mentioned she’ll be having a Fall festival on October 1st so mark your calendars🎃🍎 Seriously, this is totally worth a visit just don’t try and go out on a scorching hot day 😅 Make sure to ask about her fresh eggs, and fresh jams she makes!

Visiting Miss Effie’s was one of our favorite things we did this summer! We made an afternoon of it by packing a picnic lunch and taking our time picking our flowers-truly soaking up the beauty of it all! We loved the corn-zebo and the teacup tree-so fun! Our flower arrangement was absolutely gorgeous and easily filled two vases. We can’t wait to go back!
